2004 Douglas County Oregon Auction
The 2004 Douglas County Oregon auction item originally began as a trio of faceted stones. Eventually the design was realised using two of the stones. The finished piece featured a 8.48ct Sunstone cut in a modified bar design and a 2.45 ct Sunstone used as a accent and cut in a trillion shape. The setting was in 14ky and 18ky gold with design and fabrication by Steve Douglas of Douglas Fine Jewelry, Bend Oregon. Gemstone faceting by Steve Ewens of Steve's Stones.
